Interlocking Cocrete Pavers:
Jakes landscaping is an ICPI trained and certified installer. We install Interlocking Concrete Pavers to strict specifications to ensure your patio stands the test of time, unlike some you may have seen. We utilise heavy compaction equipment to minimize settling after installation. Soft Set Patios are a great alternative to poured and/or stamped concrete because they can handle slight movements in the ground without cracking. When properly angled, rain water runs off the patio to the desired area. We also install permeable pavers that do not require drainage angles, and can incorporation underground drainage solutions. Jakes Landscaping can take your project on from start to finish. With our full line of equipment including a Bobcat, and a variety of compaction equipment so that we have you covered from the initial excavation right to the final cleanup!
Before and Afters of this front entrance walkway/patio. This client had irrigation set up to the planter boxes built in along the walkway. The old concrete stairs were jackhammered and removed to make way for the new brick stairs. This is natural coloured Pacific Slate(textured) finish of standard/half-standard and double-standard set in the Ashlar Pattern bordered by standard charcoal.
The client below wanted a practical yet attractive patio area to serve as an area to relax under the deck and also to serve as a walkway to connect the sidewalk on the side of the house with the stairs to the raised deck. They also wanted a small area to set an old-fashioned bench on and eventually grow vines up the latticework. All this is also laid in Pacific Slate(textured) finish of standard/half-standard and double-standard and also set in the Ashlar Pattern.(Before and Afters) Notice also the Waterfall/Stream we built alongside... (the dirt from adjacent work will wash off clean)
This customer wanted an attractive and functional alternative to the dirt/gravel back yard area. We went with an alternating pattern of two sizes and colours of Old Country paving stones.(Before and Afters)
24 Inch Slabs, Before and after gives a comfortable barbeque area for this petite back yard.(this is the least expensive paving option):

This client was not satisfied with the limited patio seating area in their backyard so they doubled it with this Old Country Stone addition at the top of the small stairway (previously grass):
